See "Happy Dog" in person in the Klausmeier Room. This is a diptych that I created a year ago tonight at my September 2012 First Friday Show at the Eugene Piano Academy.  This is the first diptych, and so far only diyptuch I have painted, and it was quite fun painting it on black canvas. This painting is loaded with the great, boundless and joyful energy that happy dogs live.

Come paint and release your inner artist. I’ll provide the paints, brushes, palette knives, and canvas. You can even paint on black canvas if you’d like.

Painting is a great way to relax, socialize, and have fun! Learn techniques, all skill levels welcome, paint with your favorite colors, let go of having to do it right, and just have a good time. No experience necessary. 

Painting abstractly is a great way to de-stress even if you think you don’t have an artistic bone in your body.The best way to enjoy yourself painting is to let go of the expectation that you are going to create a master piece and enjoy the moment.
